The State of Kansas wrongfully convicted Pastor Tom Bird of two felony crimes, one of which was the murder of his wife. Eventually, Kansas paroled him after 19 years and 10 months of imprisonment.
During his wrongful imprisonment, Tom shared letters with Pastor Ken Kothe, drawn from the experiences of Joseph, recorded in the Book of Genesis. Joseph, like Tom, had been “convicted” of a crime he did not commit, but while in prison, continued to honor God and serve his masters.
This book includes 27 pairs of letters between the two pastors – Bird and Kothe – and inspirational meditations by Dave Racer. A very unique book, and in short supply.
